let us know!Ramphis Magloire was born in Petionville, Haiti, an affluent neighborhood in the hills of Port-au-Prince. His mother, the internationally known painter, Louisiane St. Fleurant, was one of the five founders of the Saint-Soleil School of painting. Working and living among a family of painters, Magloire was naturally influenced by the Saint-Soleil style. His work parallels his mothers with its naïf look, but has a stronger spiritual element and a darker, earth-tone palette.
